ZAMURRAD EDUCATIONAL TRUST (ZET)

Objectives:
The aim of the Trust is to provide educational facilities to the deserving poor students and to promote education and research. The Trust pursues this objective through mobilization of funds and their allocation to the deserving poor people. In order to achieve this objective various organs including ZAMURRAD EDUCATIONAL FUND (ZEF) will be established under the umbrella of the Trust.

Conception:
The conception to facilitate deserving poor students for education and research is mainly based on the philosophy of lending without interest (Qarz-e-Hasnah). After achieving their educational objectives the earning students are expected to pay back the borrowed amount to the Trust. The students may contribute more or less than borrowed amount according to their paying capacity. Hence the Fund will practically operate as a pool of resources for common welfare.

Facilities:
The deserving students will be accommodated to meet the costs of tuition, boarding and books according to the resources available at hand.

Management:
There shall be a Board of Trustees consisting of, at all time, not less than three members and not more than seven members including the Chairman of the Board. All decisions of the Trust will be made through council and consensus of opinion, however, in case of difference of opinion the decision of simple majority will be effective.
